Supply List
For any invite, your supply list will include the essentials such as:
- Scissors
- Cutting mat
- Calligraphy pen

Steps to Take
– Choose a Good Template
Although you can print a template design on each paper and fill it in yourself with colors and supplies, that will add to your work so we wouldn’t recommend it.
Instead, search for a Thanksgiving-style colorful theme invitations that can be printed on the cardstock so you have something to work with.
– Experiment with Text
You can choose to have the text printed on the invites with the rest of the design. But this is where the handmade, DIY element comes into play. Use a calligraphy pen to try different styles before deciding on one. Although it will be a little difficult initially, once you get the hang of it, you’ll be flying through the invites.
Note: Always write the text in pencil before using ink. There are only so many invites you can botch.
– Add Different Design Elements
Use colored paper as menus for the Thanksgiving event, and add linen papers with the invites, decorated with cute little designs to add more to the look. There are plenty of ways that you can beautify your card, but if nothing comes to mind, adding floral doodles in the corners will work well.
– Place Them In Separate Envelopes
Given that you want people to treasure your invite, you wouldn’t want its look to be ruined by a bunch of postage stamps. So use a slightly larger envelope and encase your original invite inside. It might seem a little strange, but hey, at least it’ll preserve your hard work!
