For the materials we will be needing:

• Green Cardstock
• White Cardstock
• Red Cardstock
• Scissors
• Glue
• Paper Puncher

CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT

 

Cut out 3 Christmas tree shapes on a green cardstock paper.	Fold the 2 tree shapes in half. Add glue on the outer fold line on each tree.	Paste it on front and back on the 1 unfolded tree.	Cutout a star shape on a white cardstock paper and glue on top of the tree.

HOLIDAY CARD

 

Have a red cardstock paper folded at the top as the base of the card.	Cut out a red (1) and white (2) cardstock into rectangular shapes (left side) and paste it on the front of the card (shown in right).	Using a paper puncher create small round dots and paste it on the red rectangle.
Use the white cardstock and cut out a shape of a snowflake with the red cardstock as the outline.	Create a ribbon as shown above with the red cardstock slightly bigger than the white cardstock.	Add a short message or text on the ribbon and you’re done!

SANTA SOCK ORNAMENT

 

Cut out the shapes shown above. Paste the white cardstock right on top the red cardstock to create a Christmas sock.	Cut out green zigzag lines in varying thickness. Cut white strips of cardstock. Glue on top of the red sock and trim any overlapping shapes.	Cut the shapes shown above. Paste on the red cardstock and trim any shape that overlaps the socks.
Add the shapes on the white cardstock as shown in the image.	Create the red and green gifts and the sugarcane as instructed above.	Glue the gifts and sugarcane on the socks and you’re done! You can hang it or put it up in the wall.

Chipboard is a very interesting type of paper with how widely used it is but at the same time how people don’t really know much about it. Well, here are some things you need to know about chipboard.

• It’s NOT Cardboard.Chipboard may appear very similar to a cardboard but unlike the latter it’s a non-corrugated paper material. It’s denser and more packed internally and not hollow like cardboard.
• Measurement. Chipboard is very different amongst paper stocks in that it’s categorized by how thick it is. It is measured in inches and the higher the number the thicker the chipboard is. There may be different ways it is referred to ex. 0.03 thick, 30pt or 0.03 caliper chipboard but it all basically means that it’s 0.03 inches thick.
• Densities. Chipboard ranges widely in densities, from low-density chipboards widely used in the backing of notepads or paper pads to a much thicker covers of hardbound books to floor boards. Because of this, it makes chipboard a very versatile and adaptable paper.
• Sizes and Colors. There are many sizes available for chipboards. It might come in standard paper sheet sizes or pre-cut shapes and letters. It has many options for colors as well.
• Cost Effective and Eco-Friendly. Because it’s made from recycled fiber, chipboards are a great alternative to other popular materials of similar use. This paper stock can be mass produced without taking too much from the environment.

Follow these 11 Effective Steps to Wash Your Hands

Washing your hands is one of the one of the single most effective way to prevent the spread of germs. Regularly cleaning your hands can stop sickness from spreading from one person to another and throughout an entire community.

Follow these simple steps for effective hand washing:

1.    Wet your hands with clean, running water, cold or warm.
2.    Apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces.
3.    Rub hands palm to palm.
4.    Rub right palm over left dorsum with interlaced fingers and vice versa.
5.    Rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced.
6.    Rub with back of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked.
7.    Rub each thumb clasped in opposite hand using a rotational movement.
8.    Rub tips of fingers in opposite palm in a circular motion.
9.    Rinse hands with clean water, running water.
10.    Dry hands thoroughly with a single use towel or air dry them.
11.    Use towel to turn off faucet.

This entire process lasts for about 20 seconds. Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice for a timer.

2.    Clean the nails properly and regularly.

Hand Sanitizers as an Alternative

Alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol is great alternative if soap and water are not available. Hand sanitizers however have limitations.

1.    While a great alternative to hand washing it does not remove all types of germs and harmful bacteria.
2.    These are not effective on visibly soiled and greasy hands and fingers.
3.    Hand sanitizers are unable to rid your hands of harmful chemicals such as pesticides and heavy metals.

How to Apply:

1.    Apply recommended amount (refer to product label) to the palm of one hand.
2.    Rub your hands together.
3.    Spread all over your hands and fingers until dry.

WARNING: Swallowing alcohol-based hand sanitizers can cause alcohol poisoning. Keep out of reach of children and supervise use.

RSVP Card

The term “RSVP” comes from the French word “répondez, s’il vous plaît,” which means “please reply”. An RSVP Card which usually comes with the Invitation are used by the hosts to get confirmation from a guest if they will be attending the event.

While some couples opt for a more casual invitation, preferring a response through call, email or a personal written note but for more a formal wedding event a Response Card might be required. Thankfully, there are a lot of available and convenient RSVP template to match the theme and setting for your wedding!

There are a wide variety of designs that are suited for casual to a more formal wedding but below is a common style you will find in RSVP Cards.

RSVP Wording

While there isn’t exactly a “correct” way of writing a response card there are necessary details you must include.

1. RSVP Reply Due Date. Below are few ways you can request the RSVP Date.

• Your reply is requested by October 20th
• Please respond by October 20th
• RSVP by October 20
• The favor of a reply is requested on or before October 20th
• Kindly respond by October 20

2. Guests Name. The M in the reply card is meant to signify the first letter of the formal salutation (Mr., Mrs., Miss or Ms.) followed by the name of the guest and if applicable, the name of the spouse and children who will also be attending.
3. Accept or Decline Checkbox. Checkbox for whether the guest will be attending the wedding or not.
4. Number of Attendees. Great for inviting a large number of families with children and knowing the exact guest count to plan for the menu, seating chart, place cards and other details.

Things to Consider

• Make the RSVP Deadline 2 to 3 weeks before the wedding. It will give you an ample time to contact anyone who hasn’t replied, give a final head count to your caterers, finalize the seating chart and apply the finishing touches to centerpieces and other decors.
• Numbering your guest list and writing the corresponding number on the back of each rsvp card may solve the problem of guests forgetting to write their names and illegible name writing.
• Adding a return address, possibly with contact details (phone number and email), and stamping on the envelope will help the guest send easily their rsvp cards back to you.
• Make sure the return address is the address of the person responsible for gathering the cards and keeping track of the guest list.

	Step 1 Cut out 2 egg shapes with one shape slightly larger than the other. Make sure to use the white cardstock for the bigger egg and the colored cardstock for the smaller egg. Create a pattern (wavy, curly, etc.) using the white cardstock to create a unique design for the egg. Glue the pattern on to the colored egg shape and trim the parts that over extend from the egg. Glue the colored egg on top of the white egg shape.
	Step 2 Repeat step 1 but with different pattern for the other eggs.
	Step 3 Create a cylinder shape. Cut out small rectangle strips in varying sizes. Glue the strips in the back of the cylinder shape to resemble a nest.
	Step 4 Glue the eggs on the foldover card first. Glue the nest on top of the eggs. Make sure you have an ample space to where you’re going to put the greeting or text.
	Step 5 Add a short sweet message or greeting at the bottom and you’re all set! Have a pleasant Easter!

• Foldover Card
• White Cardstock

STEP 1 Cut out these patterns from the colored craft paper. You can add additional colors and designs if you want later on but for now will stick with the simple one.

 

STEP 2 Take two of the larger heart cut outs Fold them in half and apply glue along the folds. Place 2 folded hearts side by side to create a hot air balloons. Do the same for the smaller hearts.

 

STEP 3 Place but don’t glue yet the rectangle cut out shapes to create the hot air balloon’s basket. Repeat for the second hot air balloon.  Draw 2 lines between the basket and the hot air balloon.

 

STEP 4 We’re almost finish! Glue the clouds and then the basket on top of it.

 

STEP 5 Add a text on the front of the card!
